HyoMan Kim Mega Housing.
Another building of IROJE KHM Architects, HyoMan Kim is a stunning multi-home mega-house. Think of it as a duplex, but one hundred times cooler. The structure is a mixture of private and public spaces that allow for interactions between families, ample lighting, and an all-in-one enclosed unit. Thanks Dornob!
Lim Geo Dnag House.
This house, designed by IROJE KHM Architects, is so absolutely stunning that it was nearly impossible to decide which photo to blog. Every angle of this house is sleek and beautiful, with a basic mixture of wood, concrete, and glass. It has eight interior courtyards, seems to rise out of the earth, and is a stunning mixture of warm and cool tones between the wood and glass lighting. Ungh. Thanks ArchDaily!
Concrete Humidifier With Sensor.
I know, I’m blogging about humidifiers now, but I get dry skin easily and this one looks kind of sexy. Sang-Jang Lee specifically chose concrete due to its material properties of fast water absorption and evaporation. When the water runs out, a weight sensor is triggered to turn it off. I could see my house guests confusing it for an ash tray though, and as soon as that happens, it would be ruined.
