eerriinnbbaaeerr asks, "I've always considered tablets to be a secondary toy I mean option. Does anyone carry and use JUST a tablet for ALL their needs? If I had an iPad, I'd use it "on the go" (and to Google every question I had while watching TV) and use my laptop at home for the "big" stuff like writing emails or editing Andrew's papers. I guess what you're saying is the Surface seeks to be a true all in one tablet??"
I think that’s the point. That if you are going to be a professional in any form of artwork, programming, or writing, that a tablet will not fulfill all of your needs without a series of accessories. Of course, the Surface has some limitations and we still don’t know the battery life or price point, but it could help fill that gap as an all in one casual to professional product.

All the little fanboys at my internship got their panties in a twist over the Microsoft Surface. I’m going to have to look into it now.
